22 - Deals With U.S. Steel and a New Birmingham Brewery
Thanksgiving is almost upon us and Blake and are both so very thankful for you, our listeners! Thank you for giving us the time and opportunity to bring you the weeks news stories and relevant information for the Birmingham area and beyond!
That being said, episode 22 of the RME is live. We're going up a bit earlier than usual due to a schedule full of preparations for the Thanksgiving holiday! You can stream our show in the player below or you can subscribe (if you haven't already) to the show in your favorite podcast service and download each episode, as it releases, to listen to whenever you like!
In this week's episode Blake and I discuss some of the weekends football games, the Birmingham Bull's latest hockey scores, the impending opening of Top Golf's Birmingham location, a potential partnership between U.S. Steel and the city of Birmingham, the new downtown development "The Battery" in the old Bebco location, and Mayor-Elect Woodfin's picks for his leadership team.
A quick note: next week there will not be a new episode of the RME. Blake and I will be taking the opportunity to enjoy time with our friends and family and celebrate Thanksgiving! But don't fret too much, we'll be back, fresh and ready to go in December!
Also, as I mentioned in last week's show, Laura and I are expecting our first child and, as a fun project/experiment we're preparing to launch a new podcast called "Baby's First Podcast" where each week we'll talk about our journey towards parenthood (and beyond?). You can find more information on that at BabysFirstPodcast.com!
Whether you stream our episode or download it to your device to enjoy it later, please go to our page on iTunes and rate and review us! Also, be sure to like and follow our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter and Instagram. You can also leave us comments on the comments page of RedMountainExpress.com!
While you're here, go check out our sponsor's (Beachum Woodworks) web page, at BeachumWoodWorks.com for more information on their business and their high-quality products! If you like what you see or have an idea for a custom piece of furniture, give them a call and tell them Blake and Matthew sent you!
Until next time,
