31 - Super Bowl LII
Yesterday was Super Bowl LII and though I called the winning team and final score wrong, I want to say congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles for their 41 - 33 victory over the New England Patriots! It was a well-earned victory and a good game!
In this episode Blake and I discuss a recent fire at Saturn, Ikea's purchase of 25,000 acres in Alabama, Birmingham Legion's newly announced president, the Amtrak station at the Birmingham Intermodal facility opening, the upcoming Denham Building downtown, and Mayor Woodfin's proposed funding towards the BJCC renovation and stadium project.
As mentioned during this episode, we have an upcoming interview with Justin Curfman of the band Feeding Fingers. Feeding Fingers is currently on their "Do Owe Harm" tour and will be playing a show at The Nick on February 23rd. More information on Feeding Fingers can be found on their website and some of their music can be found on YouTube. Tickets for their show can be found on The Nick's website.
